If you are on this page you have probably been invited. We’ve probably spoken and I’ve talked about the importance of dialogue. Maybe I got your phone number and promised to contact you. Maybe I’ve only met you once or maybe I’ve known you most of your life (not likely most of mine as I’m older than most people I know). Maybe we said we would contact each other to continue exploring ideas, collaborating on projects or otherwise learning from each other.

It doesn’t matter. It’s the conversation, the dialogue, that matters and I found what you had to say interesting enough to invite you to continue. That doesn’t mean that I agree with your positions or perspectives just that I think we can learn something from talking with each other.
